![]() ve Aer RGB 2, or six RGB Lighting & Fan Control accessories total. I appreciate your feedback on my questions. These RGB case fans deliver optimal airow and advanced lighting effects powered by NZXT CAM. I'm not too great at conveying what I'm trying to say through typing alone. I apologize if this doesn't come through correctly to some of you. I'll be glad to go through extra effort though if I have to. Type: Case Fan Bearing Type: Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) RPM: 500 - 1,500 RPM Air Flow: 17.48 - 52. NZXT CAM-powered for seamless software control and nearly infinite customization. Mix-and-match with any RGB Lighting & Fan Control accessory. If it's not possible to do this, alternatives are fine by me. NZXT AER RGB 2 - 120mm - RGB LED - Fluid Dynamic Bearing - PWM Fan for Hue 2 - Single. These RGB case fans deliver optimal airow and advanced lighting effects powered by NZXT CAM. Hi r/NZXT, I noticed that the RGB cable on the AER 2 that fits into the NZXT fan controller/hue2 also fits on the motherboard header, and I didnt find anything online about what happens when you plug it in there. So for my first question, which fans (including those on the Z73) do I need to connect to the Smart Device V2 to control through the CAM software? Second, if I need to connect more fans than the Smart Device supports, then is there a way that I can do it? If so, how? The main thing I'd like to do is be able to control the RGB of the 4 Aer RGB 2 fans and the speed of all of the fans through the CAM software. 32.99 Aer RGB 2 120mm RGB Case Fan 29.99 Sold Out Aer F 140mm Airflow Fan 19.99 Sold Out Aer F 120mm Airflow Fan 17.99 Sold Out Aer P 140mm Static Pressure Fan 18.99 Sold Out Aer P 120mm Static Pressure Fan 16. I'm wanting to replace the fans that come in the case with the 4 Aer RGB 2 fans (3 along the top 1 in the back). I'm planning to put the Kraken Z73 at the front of the case and leave the fans that come with it. My current build looks like this: (I recommend you look through it for context on what I type next). I'm going to be building my first ever PC soon and I am in need of some assistance for my fan configuration. Control up to nine 3-pin DC or 4-pin PWM fans, allowing Zero RPM mode to optimize noise levels. I've never seen an AER RGB Fan on any heatsink or tower heatsink. Can you put an AER RGB 2 fan on a CPU tower heatsink I immediately brushed it off and told him no and he responded with Corsair's fans as an example. Their stuff is over priced rubbish.I have three questions. The RGB & Fan Controller combines optimal fan control, RGB lighting customization, and convenient installationall in an intuitive and easy-to-use package. Anyway this would be his first PC and he hit me with a question I never thought of. You're far better off staying away from anything NZXT, regarding cooling. In a month im getting a kraken for my build and was thinking also about two AER fans for top and rear exchaust and my question is - has anyone tried them with any RGB software like RGB Fusion/Mistic Light etc Gigabytes software (which im using due to my z370 ultra gaming mobo) is said to be working e.g. Those AER fans are just noisy rubbish, and CAM is an abomination. Personally, I'd just buy fans that do what you want. You'd need to take off the RGB ring which I assume is clipped into place and reconfigure the wiring a little since the RGB lines are build into the casing of the fan, but should be simple enough yo tuck off to the side when installing the rings onto the back. ![]() But i find this extremly risky since he would have to be godly precise. My guess is, he had to break off the 4 arms which connect the fan motor to the frame and glue or solder it back from the oder side. So I came here for some community input on how he manged to do it. Many people asked him how he managed to do that, but he didnt provide any answers sadly. I want to use 3 of them as the intake on the bottom of the case, which would make the aer fans pointless.Īnyways i did some digging and found the video ( ), where some guy managed to switch the ring to the other side. However I am having second thought since officially the rgb ring can be visible only from one side. I really like the Aer rgb fans, and wanted to buy 9 of them for my new build in Lian Li Dynamic 011 case. ![]()
